Windsor Trace riding trails and carriage drivingLiving in Windsor Trace

Each morning I open the front door to greet the day. Most days I feel the sun on my face and it makes me smile. In the distance I can hear cows mooing and sometimes a rooster is crowing. Its not loud but just enough to make me smile a little more. If the horses see me they call with that whispering whinny sound they make. Its a peaceful feeling. Its beautiful here.

Windsor Trace is a special place. The riding trails are majestic. The pine forest feels like a cathedral. The trails are wide and flat. No roots or rocks. On my favorite trail there is a fox squirrel. Always in the same area. It doesn’t run away but watches me ride by. I always say hello. Riding through the aisles of pines you are surrounded by nature’s beauty. It’s an awesome feeling.

There are those who say Windsor is “too far out of town.” It’s not. Just a twenty minute drive. Run your errands. When you drive back to Windsor Trace that smile returns to your face!
